Chitra Baskar is the founder and CEO of Red Wud. She is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian School of Business (Hyderabad) where she completed the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program. She also completed PGDHM (Hospital Management) at Apollo Hospital after an MBA program at the Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Ms. Chitra is an astute Marketing Management professional for hospitals with over 15 years experience in managing and overseeing the entire gamut of Hospital Marketing, Public Relations and Business Development. She started her career as a Management Trainee at Apollo Hospitals and progressed to head the PR Department overseeing 9 units of Apollo Hospitals. She later started XFactor with the aim of increasing visibility and revenue of hospitals.

She helped set up in house marketing departments in hospitals and was instrumental in educating numerous hospitals and doctors about the importance of marketing in increasing brand value and revenue. Her efforts led to the growth of the small design studio into a Group of 4 companies offering 360o marketing services. She has also contributed towards industry related activities for Government, Private and Quasi Government bodies.
